We are Zimbabweans presently residing in the Diaspora and we are concerned about the persistent lack of access to basic needs and resources for the people of Mthwakazi. Mthwakazi peoples are those persons who occupy the Matebeleland and Midlands provinces of Zimbabwe.
We invite you to help us help the poor and underserved people of Mthwakazi. Mthwakazi Foundation Inc has important programs that have the potential for wide-spread impact on the lives of these people. Mthwakazi Foundation is committed to the following objectives:
1. to restore hope and dignity to those ravaged by:
- persistent droughts
- AIDS pandemic
- a sagging economy
2. Provide aid to hospitals:
- rehabilitate existing hospitals
- provide healthcare supplies
- improve access to healthcare
3. Provide aid to schools:
- rehabilitate physical structures
- benches, tables and classrooms
- school supplies that include books, pens and pencils
4. Improve access to clean water
As a long term goal, the organization’s aid is intended to help the affected people in starting sustainable projects of their own. It is amazing to know how far a very small contribution can go.
For just US$30-$40 dollars you can pay for a child for a full semester in school. As an organization we hold a strong belief that our small TAX DEDUCTIBLE contribution and your small TAX DEDUCTIBLE contribution will have a wide-spread and lasting impact on the people of Mthwakazi. We hope that you share the foundation’s commitment to lessening poverty, making medical help accessible to the less fortunate, providing a better education and making this world a place where all people can thrive, and we are thus asking for your help.
Please contribute US$200, US$100, US$50 or whatever you can. Your gift will not be only an investment in the lives of these people, but in all the lives they touch. We hope you will take this opportunity to encourage and support this effort by making a donation. We can make great strides when we believe in and support each other.
